(1994)|"Hair of the Dog" is the
title track of Nazareth's1975 album "Hair of the Dog". It is sometimes called "Son of a Bitch" because of a lyric in the chorus (Now you're messing with a son of a bitch). The song was later covered by such bands likeGuns N' Roses on their1993 album ""The Spaghetti Incident?" ", Warrant andBritny Fox .Stonerider covered the song on their 2008 album "Three Legs of Trouble".The song's riff is sampled in
Girls Aloud 's "Sexy! No No No... ", for which Nazareth received a writing credit. The song was also featured in a summer 2005 commercial for the new Dodge Charger, in a mash-up of "Hair of the Dog" and "Unleashed" by Chris Classic.
