* Konnie Huq, is a British television presenter
* Nasreen Pervin Huq (born Bangladesh, 18th November 1958, died Bangladesh, 24th April 2006) was a prominent women's activist and campaigner for women's rights and social justice.
* Nurul Huq Bhuiyan was a Bengali professor and politician who was a senior leader of the Tamaddun Majlish and the first president of the Rastrabhasa Sangram Parishad during the Language movement.
* Shamsul Huq was a Bengali politician who led a parliamentary committee in the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan to advocate for the recognition of the Bengali language during the Language movement of the 1950s.
