Jay Hopler

He currently teaches creative writing at the University of South Florida.

Biography

Jay Hopler is the author of a collection of poems, Green Squall, published by Yale University Press. His first book, The Killing Spirit: An Anthology of Murder for Hire, was published by Overlook Press in 1996. He holds degrees in creative writing from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. His awards include the Yale Younger Poets Prize, the Great Lakes College Association Prize, and many others.
