- Shepperton Branch Line
The Shepperton branches off the Kingston Loop at
Teddington , and connects into theWaterloo to Reading Line atTwickenham . It is often also referred to as simply the Shepperton Line.The line opened on
1 November 1864 , accessed from the Strawberry Hill direction only. The curve linking Fulwell and Teddington opened to freight on1 July 1894 and first carried passengers on1 June 1901 . The line was electrified (750v DC third rail) on1 January 1916 .The principal places served are
