Javier González Gómez, Javi González (born 22 March 1974 in Barakaldo), is a Spanish footballer who currently plays for Hércules CF. He is a midfielder who can play on either side of the pitch.

After growing through the ranks of Athletic Bilbao, González went on to have a 10-year stint with the Basque giants, also playing during 6 months with Ligat ha'Al's F.C. Ashdod, in 2006.

In July 2007, he joined "Segunda División" outfit Hércules CF.
