- Cecil Boden Kloss
Cecil Boden Kloss (
1877 -1949 ) was an Englishzoologist . He was an expert on the mammals and birds of Southeast Asia.In the early 1900s Kloss accompanied the American naturalist
William Louis Abbott in exploring the Andaman and Nicobar islands. From 1908 he worked underHerbert Christopher Robinson at the museum inKuala Lumpar . He was Director of theRaffles Museum from 1923 to 1932.Several
species of plants and animals were named after Kloss in commemorate of his work, such as:
