Mac OS X . Kiba Dock is specifically made forLinux operating systems, running under either theGNOME andKDE destkop environments. However, unlike the other systems available, it uses theAkamaru physics engine to render complex interactions.Differences
The Kiba dock has several features that most other docks do not possess but the most remarkable is the use of the Akamaru physics engine. Though still experimental it allows for a unique interaction with the dock.Instead of simply being a static row of launchers and icons, every item on the dock is a physical item, with shape, mass, inertia and gravity affecting them. This allows objects to realistically bounce around the dock, into each other, and off the edges of the screen.
