Kinloch is a small but growing town on the most northerly bay of Lake Taupo, 20 kilometres northwest of Taupo on the North Island Volcanic Plateau of New Zealand. It is part of the Waikato region.

After its origins as a sheep station, Kinloch was soon in demand for holiday makers placing "baches" or holiday houses next to the beautiful, crystal clear waters.

Now Kinloch is growing into a thriving community with a balance of permanent residents and holiday makers. Social pursuits seem to revolve around either the lake or the golf course. On the lake, world class trout fishing is the major draw card alongside more active pursuits of water-skiing and wake boarding.

Golf is the new drawcard with a new Jack Nicklaus Golf Resort partly opened which overshadows the small friendly 10 hole local course.

Kinloch now offers early childhood education through the Lakeland Mobile Kindergarten service and easy bus access to Marotiri Primary School.

Kinloch offers peaceful, safe living in a beautiful natural enviroment only 20 minutes from the thriving township of Taupo.
