Zach Blair is currently the guitarist for Chicago-based hardcore punk band Rise Against. Zach is originally from Sherman, Texas.

Before joining Rise Against in early 2007, Blair was a member of hardcore punk group Only Crime along with his brother, Doni Blair who currently plays with the Toadies. Zach was the founding member of Hagfish, and Armstrong also with his brother and was Flattus Maximus of GWAR from 1999-2002. He has also been a 2nd touring guitarist for The Loved Ones.

He is also a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and actively promotes PETA with the other members of Rise Against, [ [http://www.peta2.com/OUTTHERE/o-top10rise.asp PETA2 // Out There // Top 10 Reasons PETA2 Loves Rise Against ] ] who just released their fifth album, "Appeal to Reason", on October 7, 2008. This was their first studio release with Blair.
