Girolamo Donnini (April 18, 1681-1743) was an Italian painter of the
Baroque period. Born in the town ofCorreggio . He was a pupil of the paintersFrancesco Stringa inModena , and then ofGiovanni Gioseffo dal Sole in Bologna, then traveled to Forlì to work withCarlo Cignani .He paints an "Annunciation" for the high altar in the
Turin church of the Annunziata delle Orfanelle and a "St. Joseph instructed by the angel" for church of the Corpus Domini. InPescia he paints a "Visitation" for the church of the Salesians. Another painting on the same topic is found in the church of St. Sebastian inCorreggio . He paints a "St. Antony of Padua" for the church of St. Francesco inRimini . He also paints in the church of the Una dell'Ospedale Maggiore ofBergamo .One of his pupils was
