History

In 1995, WXQR-FM joined the "Q Network" that included WWQQ and WQSL when HVS Partners bought the station ["HVS Acquires WXQR Radio," "Star-News", January 16, 1995.] .

On April 30, 1997, Cumulus Broadcasting announced its purchase of WAAV, WWQQ, WXQR, and WQSL [Tricia Vance, "WAAV, 'Q' GROUP; 4 Radio Stations Are Sold," "Star-News", May 1, 1997.] .
