The Elizabeth Resolutes were a 19th century
baseball team based inElizabeth, New Jersey . They were a member of theNational Association of Professional Base Ball Players , baseball's first major league, in 1873.The club played just 23 games in its lone season, finishing with two victories against 21 defeats.
