Cancelos de Baixo

Cancelos is a hamlet of Portugal, in the district of Guarda and the town of Mêda.

Agriculture

Agriculture is one of the main employment areas in Cancelos de Baixo.

There are many vineyards. This area is excellent for the wine; among local wines are the wine of Oporto, and the red and white wines.

There are also many olive trees, and several types of agriculture, such as corn, potato and horticultural products.

* In summer the temperature turns around 38° to 40°C.
* With the autumn the temperature drops to 15° to 25°C.
* In the winter it is of -4° to 10°C.
