- Gottleuba Dam
The Gottleuba Dam is the second largest dam in
Saxony . The concrete dam serves as a reservoir for supply of water forPirna and provides flood protection, but energy production is small. The dam was built between1965 and1974 and is located between Bad Gottleuba andErzgebirge . It was under construction in1974 and was completed in1976 . It dams up theGottleuba ( _cs. Rybný potok) river.*Height: 65 m

*Power: 53 kWAbove the concrete dam is a lookout point. The dam is not accessible to the public. Bathing and leisure sport in the lake is not allowed, since it is for drinking water. Entry around the lake is allowed.
