Sat Bains is a chef and restaurateur from
Nottingham ,England where he runs Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms, the only Michelin starred restaurant in Nottingham.In September 2006 Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms was named Restaurant of the Year for England by the AA as published in their 2007 Restaurant Guide.
He appeared as one of the competitors on the 2007
Great British Menu where fourteen of the nation's top chefs battled it out to win the chance to cook at a four-course banquet hosted by the British ambassador to France. He won the Midlands and the East heat beating last year's winner,Galton Blackiston from Norfolk. In the final round, Sat Bains' starter of egg, ham and peas was adjudged the best amongst the seven finalists with three perfect 10 scores from the three judges.External links
