Andrea Casali

Andrea Casali (c. 1720-1770) was an Italian painter of the Rococo period.

He was born at Civitavecchia, and is said to have been a pupil of Sebastiano Conca. He traveled to England in 1748, and stayed there for a two decades, and where he was a teacher to James Durno. He was also called the "Chevalier" . He remained in England till 1766, after which he lived for some years at Rome. He etched
