"Nancy's Boys" is the 81^st episode in the FOX animated situation comedy series" King of the Hill" and was the 21^st episode of the fourth season.

Plot

Rewarded for saving the life of the owner of "That's Amore" restaurant, regarded by Peggy as "the" most romantic restaurant in Heimlich County, Hank at first wants to take "the guys" (Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill), but at Peggy's insistence has to invite a couple. When Dale learns of Peggy's requirement, he invites Nancy and himself to the free meal. The combination of the atmosphere of the restaurant, too much to drink, and Dale's flirtation has the effect upon Nancy that she makes love with Dale upon returning home, much to her horror the next day. That night, however propels Dale to even more flirtation with his wife, causing Nancy to decide to end her 14-year affair with John Redcorn.

Upon a visit to John Redcorn's trailer/office, Dale learns of John Redcorn's plight to regain Indian lands from the federal government and the government's attempted frustration of this process. Dale informs him of the Freedom of Information Act, which he uses when the IRS audits him, and helps him fill out the FOIA application. This ends with Dale apologizing on behalf of the "white man" for wrongs against Native Americans, and John Redcorn apologizing for "all he has done", although Dale still has no idea what he really means.

Nancy, furious that Dale had stood her up on a date, goes to John Redcorn's trailer to resume their affair, walking in on Dale as he is buttoning his shirt after a healing session, reminiscent of the times Dale has walked in on John Redcorn and Nancy in less innocent compromising situations. She proposes to resume their relationship, however, John Redcorn tells Nancy that Dale is now his friend and he can't betray his trust.

Continuity

In this episode, Nancy tells Peggy that she only has sex with Dale once a year (on his birthday), and seems genuinely disgusted by the thought of sleeping with him (owing to her relationship with John Redcorn). Previously, in the episode "The Exterminator", Dale and Nancy are implied to have a fairly regular sex life, which Dale frequently brags about, and Nancy only loses interest in him due to his callous attitude about firing people while working in Human Resources.
