Carin Mincemoyer

Carin Mincemoyer (born 1972 in Milton, Pennsylvania) is an American artist based in Pittsburgh. In 1994 she received her BFA with a concentration in Painting from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In 2005 she completed her MFA at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 2007 she received the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council Grant in Pennsylvania

Mincemoyer has received numerous awards and honors including a Pittsburgh Foundation Individual Artist Award, [http://www.sculpture.org/portfolio/sculptorPage.php?sculptor_id=1001461 sculpture.org] , accessed October 17, 2007] and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship She won an Outstanding Student Contribution in Contemporary Sculpture award in 2005.
