Brian C. Anderson is the editor of "City Journal", a quarterly magazine, published by the
Manhattan Institute for Policy Research , a conservative think tank based out ofNew York City . He served as senior editor of that magazine for nine years before inheriting the top positing in 2007 fromMyron Magnet .
