Momedy

Momedy is a music genre.

The term Momedy, is a combination of the words Musical and Comedy. It was first suggested as a genre by Australian Momedy group - Tripod . [1] Tripod are encouraging people to continue using this word in order to bring it into more common usage.

Other prominent Australian Momedians include Tim Minchin, the Scared Weird Little Guys, Sammy J, and GUD. To some extent the genre includes any entertainer, comedian or comedy group who often include musical instruments as part of their routine, such as Lano and Woodley.
