Official list

The Department of Defense initially planned to keep the identities of the Guantanamo captives secret. But the DoD was forced, by court order to release a list of the captive's names on May 15 2006. [http://www.dod.mil/news/May2006/d20060515%20List.pdf list of prisoners (.pdf)] , "US Department of Defense", May 15 2006] Elham Battayav is notable because even though he is clearly in detention in Guantanamo his name is missing from the official lists, at least by that spelling.

The official list does contain an individual named Ilkham Turdbyavich Batayev.
