The 2005-06 Scottish Third Division was won by Cowdenbeath who were promoted to the Second Division. Berwick Rangers, Stenhousemuir and Arbroath all entered the playoff's but neither gained promotion. East Stirlingshire finished bottom of the table for the fourth consecutive season.
