Stelling Minnis is home to a Grade One Listed Wooden Smock Windmill [ [http://www.stelling-minnis.co.uk/windmill.htm Stelling Minnis Windmill] ] , built in 1866, and operated until 1970 when the last miller Alec Davison, died. It was restored to full working condition in 2003 with funding jointly provided by
Kent County Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Alongside the windmill is a museum exhibiting the history of the mill, and of the Minnis as a whole. This is seasonally operated by volunteers.The Common
Stelling Minnis has of the last remaining unenclosed commons [ [http://www.stelling-minnis.co.uk/minnis-managers.htm Stelling Minnis Common] ] , in the South East. These large, open stretches of land are managed by a committee, and recently, volunteer work has commenced to maintain neglected and overgrown sections. Grazing animals have now been re-introduced to the Minnis, albeit in movable fenced off areas, to help with keeping undergrowth controlled to save the expense of mowing, and also as a return to tradition.

A Shop and integrated Post Office can be found on the green in the centre of the village, as well as a Pub called The Rose and Crown.
