TECHWR-L

TECHWR-L (usually pronounced "tech whirl") is one of the oldest and the largest communities of Technical Writers in the world. It is an e-mail discussion list with over 2,500 subscribers and an estimated 10,000 readers world-wide.

The list was conceived and set up in 1993 by Eric J. Ray, who was then the only technical writer at the University of Oklahoma. It has been a self-supporting enterprise for the last few years.
