Brian Cox (footballer)

Brian Cox (born 1962 in Sheffield) was a professional footballer, who played as a goalkeeper.

He started his career at local club, Sheffield Wednesday as a 16-year-old, but he was being kept out of the first team, but he left in 1982, to gain first-team experience at Huddersfield Town.

He helped Mick Buxton's side in getting them promoted up the league ladder, before leaving in 1988 to join Mansfield Town.

During his career, he also played at Millwall and Hartlepool United
