As a youngster Boucaud played under
Alan Pardew at Reading.Eventually Andre was loaned out to
Peterborough United . He made his move permanent when first team chances proved limited at Reading. Another short loan stint, this time atAldershot Town proved unsuccessful, and Andre returned to Peterborough. Andre was released that summer, and quickly joined then Conference North team, Kettering Town where he made 50 appearances and scored 5 goals. Andre's highly successful stint earned him interest from severalfootball league clubs, and he eventually joined Wycombe Wanderers after a pre-season trial. International career
Although born in
Enfield , Andre qualifies to play for the national side of Trinidad & Tobago.Boucaud has earned six caps for his national team, making his debut in an international friendly against Iraq. He was also contoversially left out of the
2006 World Cup squad, despite being a key figure in qualifying.References
