Jim Van Bebber is an American film director. Van Bebber attended
Wright State University where he studied cinema. Instead of using a bank loan to pay for a second year of college, he used the money to finance "Deadbeat at Dawn " and founded the indie film company Asmodeus Productions with several colleagues. Both "Deadbeat at Dawn" and "The Manson Family " (which took over 10 years to complete) have since become cult classics.Trivia
Van Bebber has directed music videos for bands such as
Pantera ,Superjoint Ritual ,Skinny Puppy &Necrophagia .Van Bebber won a scholarship to film school based on his eight millimeter kung fu epic "Into the Black", a clear prototype for "Deadbeat at Dawn".
