Great Glass Elevator is an American group from Southern California, formed in February 2004. The band signed to Atlantic Records in May 2006 [ [http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/buzzbands/2007/02/only_one_member.html Buzz Bands: Los Angeles Times ] ] and released and EP called "Our Hands Turned Into Machines," and have recently returned from their first U.S. tour after gaining a great amount of popularity through MySpace.
