James Williams Nettles (born March 2, 1947, in San Diego, California) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder for the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics. He is the brother of Graig Nettles.

His daughter, Shara, is married to Oakland Athletics's DH Mike Sweeney.
