Hüseyin Kalkan

Hüseyin Kalkan is mayor of Batman in Southeast Anatolia, Turkey, and a member of the Democratic Society Party. He gained international notoriety after it was revealed that he had filed a lawsuit against D.C. Comics for using his city's name in their "Batman" Comic book franchise. In 2007, D.C. Comics confirmed that they had settled with the city for an undisclosed amount.
