Bangalooru Rural

Bangalooru Rural District is one of the districts of Karnataka. It is the district surrounding the capital of Karnataka, i.e. Bangalore. Previously Bangalore Rural District was rural and agarian. Now with rapid urbanisation due to the boom in the computer software and business process outsourcing ( BPO ) industry, the demarkation between Bangaluru city and adjoining rural areas has been wiped out. Farms and fields hve been converted for use of dwelling and commercial purposes. The rural charecteristics have been almost wiped out along with the culture and folklore.
