Acronym Pronunciation
The organisation's exceptionally long name lends itself to short hand colloquiums, especially in Australia, where various members of the health informatics community pronounce "IHTSDO" as "it-see-doo", despite the disapproval of some IHTSDO members. Others in the community have also noted at least one interesting anagram in the acronym.
