philosophy newspaper published by the CrimethInc. ex-Workers' Collective. Considered the "communiqué" [Official Description http://www.buyolympia.com/crimethinc/free.html#h5] of the CrimethInc. Underground, its articles explore the collective's critical views ofcapitalism ,work ethic ,politics , and modern society as it is and has been for much of the current era. Though CrimethInc. has identified itself as ananarchist collective, they rarely mentionanarchism on the pages of "Harbinger". This may reflect the groups fear of becoming ideologist, although in many ways Harbinger preludes their anarchist outreach project, "Fighting For Our Lives ". Articles from the first two issues appeared in CrimethInc.'s "Days of War, Nights of Love ".Production
Originally, "Harbinger" featured a removable advertising supplement which apparently paid for the production and distribution costs. CrimethInc. announced on their website that they had resolved to remove the removable supplement permanently, choosing to pay for the project with donations and the profits from their other published works.
Distribution
Like many of their projects, "Harbinger" is offered free of charge individually or in bulk quantities. "Harbinger" has been published in English, Portuguese, and Spanish called Heraldo, and distributed across North America, South America, and Europe.
