Puran Singh Bundela is an Indian politician. He is a 3 time MLA from Mahroni constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Early career

Puran Singh Bundela started off his political career from the party of Indian National Congress and was chosen as a member of Uttar Pradesh Assembly for the first time in 1980's since then he's been fighting Elections from BJP which he left 6 months prior to 2007 General Elections and joined hands with BSP but his ticket was promptly cut and was given to Shri Ram Kumar Tewari, once his Ally in BJP. He finally fought from Congress party but was defeated by the former candidate by a margin of more than 24,000 votes.

Association with Raja Bhaiya

In 2002 Puran Singh Bundela accused Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya an Independent MLA from Kunda, India allegedly threatening him and trying to abduct him for switching loyalty from him towards the BSP. Raja Bhaiya was arrested in the early morning at 3:00 AM on the orders of Mayawati, then Chief Minister and was jailed. Later POTA was slapped on him.
