Times of Oman

"Times of Oman" is the leading and number one newspaper from the Sultanate of Oman in the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Founded in 1975 it holds a commanding position in the advertisement and circulation market share of this country. It is the only newspaper to have an online e-paper which gets hits in millions weekly. The most popular column in this paper is the viewpoint written by its editor-in-chief and chairman every Sunday.

A light reading stuff of "Hi" Times is distributed every Friday instead of the normal serious-reading edition. Every issue of the paper contains a Business+Features pull out and an entertainment supplement every Wednesday. Varghese Koshy is night editor. Other journalists include Naseema H.Khan, T.K. Mohandoss, K.Mohammed, Elias T. Joseph, Inacio Oliveira, Akhtar Naveed Syed, Vinod Nair, Swati Dasgupta, Aftab.H.Khola, Sarojini Manoj, Mrudu Naik, Nishad Anwar and Anitha Joseph.
