Lorraine Wild is a Canadian-born American graphic designer, writer and instructor. She was born in Ontario, Canada and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She has a long history of contributions to design. Wild received her BFA from the
Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1975. She worked at Vignelli Associates inNew York before studying atYale University for her 1982 graduate degree. She designed the nineteenth issue of "Perspecta" (Yale's architectural journal) and designed three influential books on architecture:Daniel Libeskind 's "Chamber Works" and "Theatrum Mundi" andJohn Hejduk 's "Mask of Medusa".
