She was also a participant in the first series of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! ", during which she "outed" ex-girlfriendSue Perkins as alesbian . She was also responsible for one of the highlights of the show, when the tensions in the camp became unbearable for her, she ranted:cquote|Sometimes I’m patronising. Sometimes I’m sarcastic. The Age of Stupid , set for release in February 2009.She is the author of "Nineteen Seventy-Nine: A Big Year in a Small Town", a book about growing up as a lesbian in a small fishing port. Her debut novel "The Naked Drinking Club" was published by Ebury Press in 2007.
