Pulse~LINK is a privately held fabless integrated circuit semiconductor corporation headquartered in Carlsbad, California, located just north of San Diego California, in the United States. Pulse~LINK is a pioneer in the commercialization of Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, and has developed a complete Media Access Control (MAC)/Baseband/RF chipset which exceeds 1 Gbit/s in UWB data communications. Pulse~Link has developed a UWB technology based on Continuous Pulsed UWB (C-UWB) for whole-home distribution of interactive high data rate multimedia content over a hybrid wired/wireless network. The technology is designed to coexist fully with existing home-CATV signals.

Pulse~LINK's CWave™ implementation of C-UWB provides data rates up to a Gigabit per second over coax and wireless networks. This provides consumers with the unprecedented ability to stream and distribute high quality multimedia content throughout their homes. Pulse~LINK's CWave implementations of C-UWB support the simultaneous operation of [http://www.1394ta.org/index.html 1394] , Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI-equivalent connections with unequaled data rate performance and end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS).

The company is actively involved in organizations leading the next-generation of digital home connectivity, including the [http://www.hanaalliance.org/ High Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance (HANA)] , Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), and the 1394 Trade Association.
