Lehman High School is a high school in Kyle, Texas. It was established in 2004. Its mascot is the Lobos. The school is named after the family of Ted Lehman, a former Hays CISD School Board President, who also donated a parcel of land where the school is located. School colors are Royal Blue and Silver. Lehman's sister school is the Rebels from Jack C. Hays High School. It is a part of the rapidly growing Hays Consolidated School District in Hays County near Austin, TX.

History

As the student population of Jack C. Hays High School swelled to over 2400, the need for second high school in Hays CISD became apparent to most community members.

Lehman High School opened its doors with in August 2004 with as a campus with 960 students in grades 8 through 10.

Athletic Program

Steve Davis, former head coach at Stephen F. Austin High School , was recruited to build the Lobo Athletic Program. He became the school's first and only athletic director.

Lobo Band

Band Director Joey Lucita was hired as a transfer from Jack C. Hays High School where he was an assistant band director. Since 2004, the marching band has won numerous distinctions.
