JavaFX Mobile is a Java operating system for mobile devices initially developed by SavaJe Technologies and purchasedcite web|url=http://www.sun.com/aboutsun/pr/2007-04/sunflash.20070412.1.xml|title=Sun Microsystems to Acquire Assets from SavaJe Technologies|work=Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNW) and SavaJe Technologies today announced that the two companies have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Sun will acquire SavaJe's intellectual property assets.] by Sun Microsystems in April 2007. It is part of the JavaFX family of products. The JavaFX Mobile operating system provides a platform for PDAs, smartphones and feature phones. It features a Java SE and Java ME implementation running on top of a Linux kernel.

It is understood that Sun will distribute JavaFX Mobile as a binary operating system to device manufacturers who will brand the interface to differentiate their product.
