Forest School is a comprehensive, all-boys' secondary school located in Robin Hood Lane, Winnersh, Berkshire, England.

History

Forest School began as Woodley Hill Grammar School in 1957. It became a comprehensive school in 1974. It has been a Business and Enterprise College (BEC) since 2003 and was appointed by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as the "Enterprise Hub School for Berkshire" in 2006.

The headteacher is Keith Quine, who replaced Stanley Grue in 2001. The school was founded by Walter G. Jackson (also the mayor of Wokingham in 1953) who was the first headmaster of the school.

On the 16th October 2003 five students from the school were on BBC news for taking Viagra in their lunch break. The news story also reached the USA where it was in the blunders section of CNN news. The Sun newspaper said that "by the time the afternoon lessons began, there was no hiding what they had done." On 5th Feb 2006 the school again met the headlines, in a less than favourable light. Stephen Hunt, the school's caretaker, murdered his wife Donna. Donna, the schools lab technician, regularly went drinking in Reading with teachers on a Friday night. Mr Hunt dumped her body on the school grounds, behind the school's mini bus. Other sportsmen are Ashley Mitchell, Reading and Liam Abrahams, Great Britain trampolining at U18 level, both students from 2002 onwards.

The school has also produced several fine rugby players, the most notable being Rhodri McAtee, ex England school boy who is now consistently selected for the Welsh International Sevens team, whilst playing for Cornish Pirates in National League One.
