Greenography (an amalgamation of the words green and biography) refers to written accounts of an individual’s life, favoring aspects that are considered to be a part of a “green” or environmentally friendly lifestyle.Although traditional biographies do much more than list facts about a person’s life, by including intimate experiences and examining the emotions involved, greenographies tend to follow along the lines of a profile. A greenography would note involvement with environmental organizations and green living practices in the subject’s own life, as well as what beliefs guide them.
