Aaina is a 1977 Indian Bollywood film starring Rajesh Khanna , Mumtaz in the lead roles and A. K. Hangal, Nirupa Roy, Lalita Pawar, Kamal Hassan and Madan Puri in support roles. The music is given by Naushad.

The film is directed by famous director K. Balachander. He had filmed the same story twice before: the Tamil film "Aval Oru Thodarkathai" (1974); the Telugu film Anthuleni Katha (1976) that starred Jayaprada. He produced the Kannada remake titled Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoovu (1983) directed by Chandulal Jain and starring Suhasini (Kamal Haasan's real life niece).

Director Bharat Shamsher filmed the Bengali remake Kabita (1977) starring Mala Sinha and Kamal Haasan.

Director T. Rama Rao remade this film into the Hindi film Jeevan Dhaara (1982) with Rekha in the starring role.
