Hassan Gawish

Hassan Gawish:, (born 30 May 1941), is an Egyptian neurosurgeon born in Cairo.

Professor Gawish trained in Kasr Alaini Hospital in Cairo and in the National Hospital in London. He is the previous chairman of the Egyptian society of neurosurgeons. Among his achievements is the establishment of the Neurosurgical Department in Zagazig University. Gawish is the fifth neurosurgeon in whole Egypt, since the foundation of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons. Gawish founded his own medical center (Gawish Medical Center) in the city of Zagazig in 1985. It is the first private hospital in the whole city of Zagazig.He is considered the first to practice private hospitalization in the city of Zagazig and in the whole eastern delta of Egypt.He is a father of four, and a grandfather of five.His eldest son is a neurosurgeon like his father.
