Sunnynook Shopping Center and the nearby Sunnynook Park. Sunnynook School, located on Lyford Crescent, is a decile 7primary school with a roll of 405, and [cite web|url=http://www.tki.org.nz/e/schools/display_school_info.php?school_id=1518|title=Te Kete Ipurangi - Sunnynook School|publisher=Ministry of Education] located on Becroft Drive is the local Wairau Intermediate. Sunnynook also has a skateboard bowl located in Sunnynook Park, which is also home to the Glenfield Greyhounds rugby league club. There is also the new Sunnynook bus station.According to the 2006 census, Sunnynook has a population of 6,471.
