Torbjörn Blomdahl

Torbjörn Blomdahl (born 26 October 1962) is a Swedish professional carom billiards (and to a lesser extent pool) player from Helsingborg, Sweden.

Cue sports career

Blomdahl has won a total of 15 world three-cushion titles; 5 from UMB and 10 from BWA. With these, he only places behind Raymond Ceulemans who won 24. He also has made 6 successful defenses. So far, he's the only Swede ever to become world champion. He also won 9 CEB European Three-cushion titles and defended it 4 times. He has 18 Swedish titles. His highest Cuegloss|Run|run is 24 and once made 50 Cuegloss|Point|points in 9 Cuegloss|Inning|innings (5.555 average).

In 2008, he won the money-rich Agipi Masters tournament at the expense of Dick Jaspers. Despite winning the title, Jaspers earned more money for achieving the highest run and the highest game average. [cite web

Aside of being a world-class player in carom, Blomdahl also has professional talent when it come to pocket billiards which he started practicing more. In one occaision, defeated Korean pro Young-Hwa Jeong not just in three cushion but also in nine ball and in eight ball. He also once ran a hundred balls in straight pool after learning the game, checking the World Straight Pool Championship in the internet. [cite web
