San Martino del Vescovo

The church of San Martino del Vescovo is a parish church in central Florence.

This church became the seat of the "Compagnia dei Buonomini", begun by St. Anthony in 1444 for the charitable relief of the "poveri vergognosi" (the poor too ashemed to beg). The interior frescoes attributed to Davide Ghirlandaio. Inside is an altarpiece of a "Madonna with Infant Jesus and St. John by Niccolò Soggi.
