Frederick "Spar" M'Cormack

Frederick “Spar” M’Cormack (born July 25, 1965) is a boxer from Sierra Leone, who competed in the Light Heavyweight division (75-81 kg) at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He did not win a medal.

Spar became a professional in 1985 and had some success. He won his pro debut against future titlist Mauro Galvano, as well as his other fight in 1988. Spar later went on to U.C. Berkeley, where he studied Mathematics and Physics. He fought once again in 1991 and 2002, respectively winning and losing in his two comeback fights. His career record is 4-1-1.Spar later went on to University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Mathematics and Physics. Spar is presently living in the United States.
