Kári P. Højgaard

Kári P. Højgaard

Kári Páll Højgaard (born July 21, 1951 in Strond, Faroe Islands) is the current head of the Faroese Independence Party (Sjálvstýrisflokkurin).

He became a member of the Faroese Parliament on 27 February, 2001, and took over as party leader the following year.

He has been member of the City Council in Runavík since 1988, and is currently living in Saltangará.
