San Juan, Puerto Rico ) is a Puerto Rican model.Early years
Muñoz received her primary and secondary education in San Juan. She was the first of three siblings; her father, Teodoro was a
nuclear engineer and her mother, Astrid, a retired executive secretary. They were both very strict in their upbringing of Muñoz. She enjoyed going to the beach and reading fashion magazines as a young girl. In 1988, when Muñoz was 14 years old, she was offered an opportunity to model inSpain , but her mother objected. In 1993, when she was 19 years old, Muñoz went to
Miami to visit a friend; while there she met a modeling agent who suggested that she model inFrance . Muñoz left for France without consulting her parents.
